There are various beautiful Gurdwaras in Punjab and are must to visit. One of them is Gurdwara Mehdiana Sahib also known as the 'School of Sikh History'.It is located in the village of Mehdiana in Ludhiana district.

The Gurdwara land is believed to be very pure as the 10th Sikh Guru Gobind Singh have personally been here and it's also said that if you pray truly from your heart all your wishes are fulfilled.Apart from this, what attract people is it's very unique and colorful architecture which is really admirable. It is also famous for the sculptures and statues of Sikh warriors showing the important events in the Sikh history.

5.Punjabi Music Video about 'Friends'.

Below is a link of a beautiful music video called, "Bade chete aunde ne yaar anmulle". 'Bade'; basically means-a lot, 'chete aunde' -remembrance, 'yaar'-friends and 'anmulle' is priceless. In this video, they show a man who recollects his college days. They also show how much he misses the fun and time spent with his friends etc.
I think it’s a perfect and must watch video for people who miss their college life and their friends who are now away from them.
Here, once again the language might be the only problem but as they say, “Pictures speak more than words.” So, I'm pretty sure you'll will really love and understand what they are trying to convey.

2•Kup

The Picture below is called a ‘Kup’. It’s made up of dry wheat grass and is stored with waste of wheat crop; that is later used to feed Cattle and Buffaloes.

It takes around 1-2 days to make the entire ‘Kup’. But, it also depends on its size; bigger its size, the more number of days. And, I think its shape itself is enough to tell the amount of patience and hard work one require making this.

The saying that, “Hard work never goes waste” completely fits here. As the amount of time the person has spent making this will not go waste, it will surely pay him at some point or the other.

So, never stop working hard;no matter what!

Hello Friends!
Welcome to my new blog! It's about Punjabi Culture.Actually, before taking Punjabi Culture as my topic for my blog I thought a lot as I being a Punjabi do not know many things about my culture and traditions. I know,it's strange right! So this worried me a little and made me think that if i do not know anything then what will I write and share with you people. But then later I thought for a minute that so what if i don't know, first I can learn and later share the same things with you people.
